My Latest Trip to Oregon 1

I had the honor to meet a really amazing gentleman on my latest trip to Oregon!  His name is Bruce and he has a spectacular collection of Bonsai Trees.  

My friend Curtis was kind enough to bring me along to visit Bruce's property.  It was an amazing location adjacent to a river.  The level of green and the variety of plants was truly magical.  The most amazing part to me is that so much was growing in the middle of winter.  

Bruce had a background in plants as a career. To look around at his property, it became evident that there is a huge variety of different species that he brought in to adorn his canvas.  And nestled, off to the side, there was a patch of leaves that guarded his collection of Bonsai Trees. He pulled a couple out for us to look at and this is one of them.  It's a beautiful tree that had an amazing layer of moss covering the base.  Couldn't get enough of looking at her.  Just beautiful!!

I thought I knew a little something about Bonsai, but after this trip I realized I don't know much at all.  It's a beautiful realization because that means I have so much to look forward to. Thank you so much to Curtis and Big Bruce for letting me into their Bonsai world!!
